Office Hours Schedule

 Office Hours:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: 20214 HWY 35 Sweeny, TX 77480 ( green office building)

Office Holidays (Office Closed):

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day 
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day 

🚛 Important:
While the office is closed on these holidays, trucks still run as scheduled for all holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

If your pickup falls on Thanksgiving or Christmas, it will occur later that week. For all other holidays, please have your can out by 6:00 AM as usual.

How do I start new service?

 To start service, please contact us thru our contact page, email us at adamsdisposalsvc@aol.com or simply call 979-345-3102 with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • House address and mailing address (if different)
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Whether you'd like 1 can ($33/month), 2 cans ($49/month), or 3 cans ($67/month)
  • A brief description of your house if the address isn’t visible on the mailbox (color, fence, etc.)

Once we receive this, we’ll get your account set up and schedule delivery of your can.

 Note: Your first month’s payment is due upfront, either as a prorated amount (if starting mid-month) or for a full month, depending on your start date.

My garbage wasn’t picked up — what should I do?

 If your trash was missed, please check the following first:

  • Was your can out by 6:30 AM?
  •  Was your can placed within 3 feet of the curb or road, facing the street and not blocked by vehicles, mailboxes, or other obstructions? 
  •  Was your can overfilled or too heavy to safely lift? 
  • Was it a holiday or bad weather day (Christmas or Thanksgiving only)?
  • Is your account balance paid? (If your payment shows a balance or past due, service may have been paused.)

If everything appears to be in order and your trash was still missed, please email or call us the same day, and we’ll look into it and do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

How do I temporarily suspend or cancel my service?

 You may request a temporary suspension or full cancellation by contacting us with the following:

  • Suspension: Let us know your start and end dates for the pause in service.
    (Example: “Suspend from August 1 – October 31. Resume service November 1.”)
  • Cancellation: If you’re moving or no longer need service, please email or call us. We’ll schedule a pickup for the company-owned trash can.
     

Important: Billing continues until the account is officially cancelled. If you move without notice, charges will still apply.

What size is the trash can provided?

 We provide a 96-gallon red can (also referred to as a receptacle) for weekly household trash pickup. 

What areas do you service?

Brazoria, Sweeny, Old Ocean, Needville, Damon, Guy, Van Vleck, Wild Peach, West Columbia, Lake Jackson (Sugar Mill & Buffalo Camp), Pledger, Boling-lago, Wharton, Cedar Lake, Cedar Lane, Sargent, Churchill, Fairchild, Midfield, Palacios, Markham, Blessing, Collegeport, Elmaton, Bay City, Wadsworth, Matagorda. 

What time should I put my trash can out?

 Please place your can by the road no later than 6:00 AM on your scheduled pickup day or the night before. Our trucks do not run on a fixed schedule. 

What items can I throw away?

 We accept household trash only.
We do not accept:

  • Construction debris (shingles, sheetrock, wood, etc.)
  • Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries, ammunition)
  • Tires, brush, metal, or dead animals

What if my can is damaged?

 We replace or repair cans with normal wear and tear at no cost.
Damage caused by:

  • Burning
  • Stickers or paint
  • Chewing by animals
  • Chaining or bolting
    …will result in an $80 replacement fee

Do you service barrels or other containers?

 No — we only service Adams Disposal–issued cans.
We cannot pick up from barrels or cans from other providers.

What holidays affect my pickup?

 We only observe two holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

📣 Advance Notice:
We send out a schedule of any holiday-related route changes one month in advance through:

  • Your paper and email billing statements
  • A notice posted to our Facebook page 

This ensures you have plenty of time to prepare for any changes.


We do not delay service for other holidays (such as New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day) unless otherwise noted.
